Children\’s Storybooks is another site where books are online to read together with students.
Speakaboos Online Stories has read aloud stories great for Promethean Boards. Genres include favorites, fables, folk tales, fairy tales, nursery rhymes, and songs. There is a teacher section with other resources such as story guides, worksheets, and even related arts/crafts projects.

Multiplication.Com has numerous games and activities for students based on multiplication. One warning – most of the games have music and sound, so headphones are a good idea.
Ambleside Primary School\’s Collection of Numeracy Tools and Games has too many cool resources to mention. There are dozens of math graphics and interactives you can use with the Promethean board.

The Table Trees is a free online math facts game where students can practice their multiplication. It requires students to not only find the answer but also the missing multiplier.

Literacy Head.Com is a wonderful site with frequent updates. There are professional development articles on teaching literacy, art that illustrates the theme of a featured picture book, ten book recommendations, writing prompts, reproducable graphic organizers and visual aids, visual vocabulary (my favorite) you can use in flip chart presentations, and teaching comics. There is a lot of content on this site, so take some time to check it out.

Capzles
Capzles.com is a social networking site that allows users to tell a story using pictures, video clips, audio tracks and text. Users are given the ability to place this media, called “moments”, together chronologically in a timeline. The result is called a “capzle”. Any of the moments can be viewed individually, or all of the moments can be viewed in progression. Users can share their capzles or individual moments with their friends by sending an email link or by inviting them to join the site. The site has the usual social networking features of being able to search and view user’s profiles and to send messages between users.
