iTunes now has their educational apps organized on a page for teachers. Apps are grouped into categories such as classroom tasks, curriculum support, instructional tools, reference, and personal organization.

Massachusetts posts their Achievement tests, constructed responses, and answer keys online every year. This is a good source to have when aligning your assessments to the current standards and reflecting upon your questioning strategies and accurate levels of challenge that is mentioned in the new evaluation rubric. Massachusetts is what the “common core” is patterned after, so the rigor/relevance of the questions are spot on. Take the time to view it and pull questions for bell ringers, formative assessments, summative assessments, summarizers, etc. It also offers a Spanish version that could be very useful in obtaining higher order thinking.

Don’t be afraid to use this site due to its UK origin. All the money references are in gold coins that are base ten.
Moneyville.co.uk is an educational website that was designed to enable school children aged 5 to 9 years old to learn more about money in a fun and interactive environment. With its entertaining games and various activities, your pupils can explore where money comes from, what money is worth and how they can prioritise and save up.
A special area designed for children from 8 to 9 years of age enables them to learn about finances in a game specifically related to everyday life. For example, they must make a number of decisions that can affect their total finances during a year.

Students and teachers will like this free site writing class. It is a free service that allows you to find words and phrases that are similar or related to each other.
Type in a word or a phrase and Words Like.net will come up with a list of related words and their corresponding definitions.
