TN Core.Org is a new site from the TN Dept. of Education launched to provide resources to districts and teachers implementing Common Core Standards. From the web site:
The Common Core State Standards will prepare Tennessee students with the most important knowledge and skills to compete in an increasingly global environment. These standards will emphasize thinking, problem solving, and creativity, and introduce next generation assessments that will give students, parents, and educators better information about college- and career-readiness based on performance beyond multiple-choice tests
