We have all heard of Ted Talks. Now teachers can utilize Ted Ed for their classrooms. Videos are categorized by topics and subject areas, have questions and deeper thinking activities to go with the videos, allow you to use You Tube videos in the same fashion, and even allow you to “FLIP” your lessons by altering content and saving a unique URL. I am impressed with this learning tool for middle and high school students.
The TeachEngineering digital library provides teacher-tested, standards-based engineering content for K-12 teachers engineering content for K12 teachers to use in science and math classrooms. Engineering lessons connect real-world experiences with curricular content already taught in K-12 classrooms. Mapped to educational content standards, TeachEngineering‘s comprehensive curricula are hands-on, inexpensive, and relevant to children’s daily lives.
HippoCampus is a project of the Monterey Institute for Technology and Education (MITE). The goal of HippoCampus is to provide high-quality, multimedia content on general education subjects to high school and college students free of charge.
